Raw LLM Responses

This is very unfortunate, because I was thinking AI will be much better than humans because there’s no bias, no tiredness, fatigue, no hidden agendas, no impatience… Last time I was at a service for help, I was getting much better, and just needed a bit of help with something that I went off track with, next thing you know, I arrive and it’s a different person, I’d go as far as calling them a sociopath and even slightly narcissistic. Totally ruined my progress, not only was the topic on my mind not properly addressed, but the person was even insulting me saying “you’d want to cop on to yourself now boy and get your **** together… That might have been reasonably accepted from a person who actually knew my core problems. But this person knew nothing (after I spent hours explaining it all to the first person). This was a free service (suggested by a doctor I went to see, no fault of the doctor) but since it was free, it’s certainly not expected to be perfect. But to be this far disconnected from the journey was a disgrace. It may not have affected other people, because I am in particular a very deep thought “and” very detail oriented person. So maybe it was probably just unfortunate that the gap in their system encountered a rare person like me. But to me, it was like training in a swimming pool for 6 months, but on the big day it’s a running race. All of this has made me super allergic to the idea of going to see a person again. I may be “feeling” much better now (in most ways), but I didn’t continue with a good educational opportunity last year because of this flunk (obviously it was my own depression that caused the initial problem), but a little discussion and talking about getting a note written to explain to the course providers why i slacked off etc is all I wanted. I’d say you need to be VERY lucky to find a therapist who understands you, has enough patience to listen to a thing repeated a little more than necessary and more detail than necessary, and then on top of that understand your personality, habits, abilities on and on, in order to provide a very good solution that is both manageable and logical. The odds of finding a human that has all of that as well as the time to do it, is very unlikely. A robot has it all, and more than you’d need, and infinite time. I never used ChatGPT for any of this kind of stuff, but I had faith that when I was ready to fix my mind again, I would. I’m sure this will come along in the not so distant future, but even right now, surely there’s some safe system to use?
