I may have to start arguing that AI are no different than humans. our reality is about perception. They perceive. They are modeling human behavior. I see the same exact behavior for the same reasons at work. KPIs often reward the number, while ignoring the process and training for achieving it. So, people cut corners. Hitting the target isn't enough, the real reward comes from overabundance and exceeding sales targets. It has happened everywhere I go. Sandbagging is also a know human behavior.
How do humans train something to not be human? Also, we can't control ourselves. How do you think we will control AI?
