I guess maybe people should look at it like this. Would you rather have a robot cook you a fancy meal without tasting, but only going off cooking instructions and using ingredients or would you rather have a human cook you a fancy meal, tasting everything as they go and putting their heart and soul into the meal? That's the difference when it comes to human art (digital/traditional) vs generative ai art. One puts their soul into the work making sure everything is perfect while on the other just follows instructions given to it. An artist is an artist because they put time, thought, feeling and emotion into the art they are making. If your an AI artist you don't experience the same values other than just thought and time. It's lazy and the work gen ai puts out steals from other creatives.
