I wonder why everyone freaks out about ai killing us, when it is equally as likely that billionaires flip the switch and send their super human robots after us?
Or if not actively going out of their way to kill us just deny us the basic necessities to live. They own it all by then and we own 0 once the jobs are gone. And politicians by then will 100% suck up to them to get their ticket to the Elysium. What stops them now is not morals. It is capability. Once that is gone don't think they will hesitate to throw millions of peoples into the desert.
