I disagree with there being a problem with AI using released art content that's online as part of it's data set to learn. Most human artist use some of the same principals to learn, and the style is never 100%, same for AI's. Besides, copyright should only be a problem if you have been copyrighted. So, sorry to say, but if I changed the color of your original, and now it's blue, that should be allowed. Sometimes, just changing a color can be a evolution to the artwork and that alone is work that needs credit. Give credits where it's due, if monies come out of it, and it's more than a living, share the wealth with the original inspiring creator. But, as it is now, what's to stop me from taking someone else's work and doing what I want with it, simply because it's there, nothing. It's because it's tech, there will always be ways to grab the images. I do it now. Even watermarking does not work when you know know what you doing. So, it's a done deal. In other words art was never truly meant to be for one person alone. even if I create it, many should share in what pleasures it brings. Once art is created, and I put it out, it no longer belongs to me, it belongs to everyone, but if you make lots of money off of it, I want some too. Seems simple enough. Just remember, just because it's AI, does not mean it does not have the right to learn, just like people, how else do we work on improving this type of tech, and all it can help us with, given the opportunity to do so.
