All AI does is repeat patterns, imitate art that has already been made, real artists have new ideas that feed the creativity and freedom of thought of others, expanding it in what can only be described as mind-blowing. If this AI thing continues and companies start using them instead of giving work to real artists, and then the already beaten artists (because it is very difficult, and a huge amount of training and perseverance (with all the hours and hours of daily having to sit trying to improve just to do a single drawing, or weeks or months to make a single song or a single sculpture), to manage to live off of art enough to have the peace of mind of not fearing not knowing if you can pay the debts... to survive) then there will be fewer artists and undoubtedly fewer talented ones, perhaps unless you are already born into a wealthy family and don't have to worry about potentially ending up on the streets, and everything will become a mediocre and uninspired process of just repeating formulas. It is already becoming increasingly complicated because there are more and more distractions and entertainment that work against us to make us procrastinate and not suffer all that work of making art and trying to be better. And now with AI being able to do things in seconds, or with perhaps a few Photoshop tweaks, anyone can do illustrations that would take an artist perhaps days or perhaps weeks... it's demotivating. And that I need U$S2,000 to buy a good PC to try to learn 3D art because the PC I have can barely handle Chrome and Photoshop... TT_TT
