Honestly I believe that AI art can have its uses like you mentioned earlier in your video. As a doodle dabbler I think that AI art just rings hollow, it was made with a process completely detached from your person. I know that when I draw I can remember how the first line was drawn, and what initially led me to draw that line. However as an engineer I can see a bit past the facade of the artificial art itself and see the black magic that goes on inside to generate something recognizable. I think this whole issue stems from two different groups colliding. We have the artists and the programmers, both incredibly talented in similar but different ways. It just so happens that an artist generally doesn't appropriate their work being torn apart and combined in a machine, and a programmer doesn't want to have artists yelling at them about there awesome new shredder printer program.
