There is always a lag of years in tech innovations and I can expect it to be particularly stark in this case. For this stuff, some people are living in 2025 (wow cool this helps in X ways it couldn't just 1-2 years ago), some in 2027 (GPT5 sux! AGI when??), some in 2023 (I'll use it for X small stuff but I don't see what's earthshattering about it), some in 2021 (huh, AI? I have no idea what you're talking about).
