I actually appreciate AI art to a degree but choose not to use it purely due to its theft of intellectual property. The thing I appreciate about it is when it's used for small, insignificant, personal art such as D&D character concepts or the merging of different animals for laughs and help creating monsters especially when you're not good at drawing but can create the concept of your goal in your mind.
