Yeah its so crazy. My fiances family are against ev and ai and most technology. They LOVE their trucks lol anytime something bad with an ev comes out they talk about it like the people that fall asleep while in the self driving car and die. They talk about how dangerous it is while completely ignoring the people who drive their own cars drunk and kill families, or those who are puttinf on makeup and crash into a pole, or the angry/sad/old people who do things irrationally that also cause deaths. Unfortunately we cant just update software to make people stop drinking and driving. Even all the stories that come out about young people getting life sentences, for drinking driving and killing a family...people still drink and drive.
Its the same as if a program had a malicious virus and did the opposite of what you told it to do.
People are dumb
They make AI to make people not dumb
Dumb people hate ai
