Ideas are stolen by people, AI is no different. Picasso used the data set of Native Americans for example. It is not a violation, it is ideas inspired by other ideas. You draw a happy face, other people see it and use it as a basis of their creation. Sorry, I am an artist and realize that once shared in any public space, others may borrow and I accept it. Even if it is in the style of another artist work. All ideas are taineted by experience by people or AI. Artist are the first, but not last to be impacted by art, music,...and eventually law, financial advice, psychologist. I understand it is your livelyhood, AI is taking that from us all. It is not unethical, and I understand how AI works. Geaorge Harrison was sued from borrowing music that is barely connectable to others. It is the same and you cannot erase AI and how it works, it is inspired by our art, no stopping it. You argument is only yours until it is in the public space, somebody takes a digital picture. It feels like a violation, I agree, but you where inspired by something or somebody and they can sue you as well. Fund the attorneys is all you will get. I am sad about it also, but it is something unavoidable. I have painted art in the syle of other artist and thats all AI does, it is often how art classes are taught. You can steal create, so can AI and soon it will be more intelligent. You cant win, none of us creators will. Perhaps a premium paid for natural diamonds over synthetic diamonds which are real will apply to art as well.
