I think defining, describing and analysing a problem are key. You have to have a clear picture on what you need and want. Then you can go and find or make solutions with or without AI. And AI can be a partner during all stages of this process. Just opening your dev tool and ask "go for it" does not work. During my education i had lessons in critical thinking. A very annoying teacher who gave us a project and then kept on asking questions. We never could do it right for him. But we learned to keep thinking on everything we did.
Im now 60 and starting a new career on testing. I don't worry about learning scripts. I focus on the proces of analysing the information required to do the job. And im looking at AI to see if it can help.
