While I think I get what you're trying to get at with this video I have two disagreements; the first is the weaker and honestly just more personal point of loving both AI and Human art,, which make watching this as enjoyable as watching a mom and dad fight each other. The other disagreement is more serious, you talked about the risk that Nightshade could cause the piece to be mistaken as AI art and focused on that, which is of note, but without recognizing other potential negative ways that Nightshade derived methods could potentially be used down the line by bad actors if its use becomes normalized to the point of commonplace; hackers, trolls, vengeful individuals, individuals with good intentions, etc, have for ages been coopting normal and well-intended things and turning them into virous and worm riddled dangers for decades. And now here is Nightshade, allowing creators to "poison" artwork that is freely distributed in public forms, with the "poison" itself freely open to anyone who wishes to download it... say the myriad of knowledgeable hackers who may also use AI art programs who may find ways to "poison" batches of easily mass produced AI art that could then carry their own "homebrewed poisons" into innocent peoples computers? Before one creates or changes so much as a single grain, one must intimately understand what impact that grain may have in the hands of the future, for there is where it will bloom from its roots and scatter its seeds.
