That argument also doesn’t make sense because whether it’s the artist or the AI, it’s still not them.
That said, doubt AI is going anywhere, and most of the complaints about it seem to line up historically with what people said about a lot of machines. Just that argument of the tyranny of artists is dumb less they follow that insane logic of “if I am not winning, then I’ll make everyone else loose”.
