The Ceo's of these companies may have read the book, but I doubt if they understand anything in it. They employ other people to do that. They are more interested in money than sense. They should focus on limited AI. Build each AI to do one thing and avoid general AI until we can control it with laws like the 3 laws of robotics posited by Asimov.
