AI doesn't have emotions; it doesn't have a heart; it doesn't have a soul. Doing art is a form of expressing our emotions to another person. Art is a form of communication between human beings, a communication that transcends that of the words. Therefore AI by itself CAN'T do art, because there isn't an actual transmission of one's emotions to another person. It can only imitate and copy colors and shapes. Art is not only something witch someone see and selfshly give a meaning to it, but rather something that someone must at least try to understand what the artist wanted to transmit. When you see art, you try to see some part of the artist soul/heart, but AI don't have a soul/heart, it can't show nothing but imitations, because this is what an AI is, an imitation, because it is not an actual being, but a fabrication. All AI can do, as a fabrication, is to auxiliate it's creators, by using its imitations to give the artist some inspiration to create something really original that has an actuall meaning and something to transmit to another person. But, in my opinion, life and reality itself is the best source of inspiration we can ever have, because it is the primary resourses of our perceptions; the second resource of inspiration is the art of another artists; the third source of inspiration, finally, can be the AI imitations. It is of ultmost importance to know the differences between inspirations and imitations, because what AI is doing right now(or rather what people is doing with AI right now), is not something original that came out of inspiration, but rather imitations that came from the data selection made by algorithms made by programmers.
