Traditional artists HATED digital artists. When the impressionists started to carve a space for themselves the establishment was revolted.
Ultimately, art is about expression. Whether AI art can be utilized to bring someone's vision to fruition or not is a matter yet to be answered for me and a reality yet to be confirmed for many.
Because art isn't about how you say something but about what you are saying. Whether you say it well isn't something an AI can dictate... Because if you're making nonsense art with no direction, it doesn't matter if you utilized 15 years of training or 15 minutes with a training model...
