The design and manufacture of medical devices is extremely tightly regulated. Typically, a compliance document for even a very simple medical device will run to 800 pages or more after several rounds of review by the authorities before a device is allowed on the market. The people speaking here seem to be completely unaware of this, and the enormous dangers posed by AI to EVERYONE - not merely a relatively small number of sick people being treated for specific diseases in hospitals. It is almost inevitable that humanity will be taught some painful lessons here and there is a distinct risk that humanity will not even survive the first lesson.
