This is ridiculous. Throughout the entire interview he keeps suggesting and implying that its alive or that you can learn things from it about humanity. ITS NOT AN AI. Its a language model. Its not continuously on like a human brain is.. They send some data through and the data takes a certain path and comes out the other side modified in a certain way.
Its like rolling a snowball down a hill and watching it become bigger and change shape and direction as it rolls and then confusing that with an ice sculptor.
You can change the contours and angles of the hill in a trillion different ways so that when the snowball reaches the bottom it looks like the sculptors work, or even two different sculptors work combined. But no matter how complex the hill gets nobody will confuse that hill with an ice artist. In the same way you cannot confuse this with an AI. Its a language model. It cannot create new ideas from nothing like a human can. And no language model ever will be able to. We may invent real AI someday, but it won't be anything like ChatGPT. ChatGPT is much closer to google search than it is to a real AI.
