To all the braindead comments in this comments section saying that the AI "art" is somehow "art," the reason so many people *HATE* it is because it's soulless. Sure, the artists that they copied from had their soul put into their art when they were making it, but when the AI just decided to make a collage of many works, including their own, and spat out a "hyper realistic" piece, it lost its soul because it was no longer a marvel to look at. It was interesting back when it first gained traction, but now it's just too over the top. Now it's just a 2 second prompt, and the people who make it don't try to make art of their own hands. Also, the argument that artists "steal" art styles from other artists throughout history is the biggest load of BS. Artists spend literal years learning about different art styles and implementing them into their own unique style that they can then improve upon. It's called learning, jackasses. It is not the same as an AI being fed millions upon millions of different artworks and then spitting out a piece of shit that can easily be distinguished from regular art due to the lack of feeling and soul in it. Finally. Artists are annoyed at the fact that their passion is being ruined by AI and that stupid idiots are falling for this BS because they work very hard on the things that they enjoy in the hopes of making a living off of it, and AI was supposed to be this tool meant for improving the lives of people by having it do the work and the people could enjoy their hobbies, but all it's done so far is make useless twats who haven't provided any real value to the company start threatening others with the prospect that their jobs would be taken and nobody would be able to make a living anymore. Sounds like the AI bros are anti workers and pro corporations, which is kind of a weird stance to take because those workers could easily take your "job" with the AI you "use."
