There is NO such thing as AI of ANY kind and the NEVER will be! ChatGPT is an application written by SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS. It is trained in grammatical constructs, math, science, etc. by looking at BILLIONS of inputs and executing code to organize it based on human knowledge. It will evaluate through algorithms the construct of a prompt and relate it to those inputs it has seen to come up with what seems like a coherent response. It is still executing code written by developers. Generative AI does nothing more than evaluate past data to develop the most economical solution. This is NO different than looking at travel routes with real-time access to accidents and/or congestion to determine the fastest way from A to B. A machine will NEVER be able to THINK for itself! PERIOD!
