And for what?? What's even the point of all this?? They could have all the money in the world, which will be useless when everyone around them gets replaced by AI and humans idk land on the street and starve because no jobs, no money and AI are not developed to help the poor. So what will be left over when this is all played through?? It's so damn pointless and boring. Humanity either gets extinct or rather gets enslaved to keep AI alive.
Crazy how Black Mirror predicted this development while it was just a creepy sci-fi series. But we soon have AI of dead people, there is a whole episode about the consequences of that. And that episode where everyone sits in a small room plastered with screens and the only life purpose is to ride bikes to keep the system running while everyone is addicted to the trashiest, most exploitative entertainment industry. The social media star ratings doesn't seem so far away either. And then there is also that episode with the military robot dogs that kill everything that moves.
The world is not sci-fi enough yet to get into sci-fi dystopia direction. Ey some administrative offices didn't even fully transition over to digitalize their work and data yet.... It's too early for robots and AI.
