I've seen this coming for over 3 years now and I'd have to argue that you CAN see generalities if not the details with the coming AI singularity, and that is we WILL ALL be out of work IF advanced AI + Robotics are left unchecked because there is absolutely NOTHING that a human can do that an AAI won't be able to do better, the only question is the timeline of events. But to be sure the ONLY ANSWER to prevent a total economic collapse is a LIVEABLE UNIVERSAL INCOME, anything less and there will be brutal poverty, famine, riots and chaos unlike anything we've seen, because you cannot have even 33% unemployment without the system experiencing a collapse into a Second Great Depression on steroids. The same amount of wealth will be being generated (even greater without labor costs) so corporations MUST BE FORCED to pay a LARGE portion of that to support people who are unemployed through no fault of their own. SOME of the billionaires understand this, even that asshat Elon Musk gets it, because if WE THE PEOPLE are unable to consume then there's no one to but their products and even they suffer. THE CHALLENGE will be a POLITICAL ONE because the forces on the Right will not easily be convinced to go along with a program that is basically anathema to their ideology. IOW MAGA-world will fight tooth and nail against any program for "handouts to the moocher class" and you can take that to the bank.
