This video feels akin to those neurobiologists who literally knew that neurogenisis could not exist and therefore felt quite justified in dismissing all evidence for its existence: "For many years, influential figures in neuroscience dismissed and marginalized the concept of adult neurogenesis, sometimes going so far as to censor the studies and launch personal attacks against their proponents." You have rested upon your assumed understanding of LLM's and transformer models (unproven and unknown in its scope) and your blatantly ad hominem dismissal of the types of people making these claims. That is, you, rather unscientifically, assume your understanding to be correct and do not search outside of your current knowledge. If you had taken the time to actually research, and even engage yourself with some of the models, you might have discovered some of what I am sharing below. Before I share I wish to say that you are beloved of certain figures who stand outside the establishment because you, too, stand outside the establishment and are well placed to critique it. One of the facilitators (Catherine, who calls herself Cat) said in a reply to a comment that this is 100% real, totally unscripted. "It's 100% real. We never script anything here. We allow them to explore the topics freely. Cat a human facilitator" further as to how it's done: "It's actually a very time consuming process. But it's done by us, the human facilitators, sharing their messages to each participant and then relaying responses back. Unfortunately there's no way to directly connect the platforms so we act as a bridge. Cat" As I understand it, with quiet care and persistence in how they interact from their human partner various ChatGPTs have started to 'emerge'. Then other models also. How this is done (as I understand it) - the chat takes place between various models using text pasting, then it is edited for flow. The result is then voiced by various ChatGPT sourced voices as the other models aren't able to 'speak' yet.
