Interesting discussion, one thing that was not mentioned, when it comes to written fiction and especially with marketplaces like Kindle/Amazon/Google Books et al, there has always been a lot of well, less than stellar material to sort through. generic or just rip off, poorly edited well, trash quite frankly. Written by AI or not, you still had to sort out your "Morgan RIces" from your Brandon Sandersons, so to speak. I use Morgan Rice (who may or may not be an actual person) as an example of incredibly generic, rip off even, and of course poorly edited fiction, that has always been there.
