it's always so aggravating when people say i was "born with a gift" when no, just because my mom's an artist herself doesn't mean that i have a genetic disposition to draw: I JUST WANTED TO AND HAD A MOM WHO HAPPENED TO DRAW TOO. but she didn't actually *teach* me anything, i learned everything entirely on my own through youtube tutorials and surrounding myself with people who liked art too ANYONE can do art because in order to create art you will have problems that require CREATIVE SOLUTIONS to overcome and even then the solution isn't going to make the product perfect, and the solution isn't always going to last but you literally have to take the time and patience to continuously throw shit at the wall till *something* sticks. To claim that artists are elitist because *you* won't find the solution to your problems and result to using ai where the entire point of it is for it to produce the most "picture perfect" product it can where it takes out the imperfections made by human hand and therefore removes *any* meaning or emotion it has is GENUINELY a skill issue I can *tell* who Lavendertowne is compared to another artist like Ludo Lullabi PURELY based off the style and emotion both their artstyles portray Lavendertowne has a very pastel and soft aesthetic to her art but it's also unashamed to be messy or a little rough which makes her art feel something akin to sitting in a really cute cafe while it's raining outside Ludo lullabi's work is full of sharp lines and super exaggerated expressions meant to convey constant action and movement which makes looking at his work feel *super* energetic with ai it's nice to look at, but that's *ALL THERE IS*. Ai art is only ever produced by combining other pictures that all look similar and condenses it all down into something that's just *generic*, uninteresting, *clean*. the only thing ever special about ai art that it's influenced by *real* artists who've put in YEARS of work and honing their skills. you want talent for yourself? THEN YOU GOTTA WORK FOR IT.
