AI is just demolishing trust in education. It’s ruining trust everywhere. I think the next generation is going to either become functionally illiterate or they’ll go through an extremely paternalistic education system where there’s next to no trust afforded to students.
I genuinely can’t think of a way colleges and schools can safeguard against AI without just making it in person and either handwritten or done on computers that have some kind of AI ban/aren’t connected to the internet.
