if they want to have their own regulations and lose out on all the fun of unregulated AI isn't that their own choice/loss? what next..are we going to forbid them from passing food standards our farmers can't/won't meet? oh...they did do that..but their farmers seem to be doing fine following those rules. shall we demand that the EU can't force our car makers to include seat belts or safety glass in cars? they'd better damn well buy our cars the way we want to make em and stop bullying us! :-D
