Thank you for this - nice perspective with humility (rarely seen in the headline grabbing media). One additional factor to transformative tech is that it makes the base service more VALUABLE, and drives increased usage. Medical imaging is better with AI and human read, and so we will use it for indications that we didn’t used to.
Cheaper is the obvious first driver, but not the only one. There’s a reason everyone has a cell phone - way more convenience value. But how many of us video chat routinely for basic day to day? We’ve actually gone the other way - more text than vox- but still vox for the complex nuance…
