When it comes to the monstrosity of our so called 'human leaders', and why the rulers of us can say that 'ai is bad for humans' and that 'they intend to keep developing it anyway' in the same breath, it gives the impression that we are not looking at a simple situation of humans vs AI, but a (dark irony) 3 body problem : humans, AI, and not-humans. Not Humans are forcing humans to develop AI anyway, in order to weaponize against humans.
i think that humans are a captured and conquered species, and that the not-human skin-job overlords that we call 'the power elite', are either not entirely human, or are fully not-human. How else would it be explained, as to how and why the worlds elite are so readily monstrous and gleefully psychopathic (even when 'on their best behaviors and in public view', nevermind what they really get up to behind closed doors, and within deep basements and catacombs) ? i could be wrong, but it seems to me that the only logical conclusion, is to observe and understand, that we are ruled by those whom would prey upon us in every possible way, because They are very much no sort of human.
