Just adding to the pile here, because it feels good: I will actively filter away AI content to the best of my ability, actively seek out human-made art that interests me, and take every opportunity to argue against the use of generative ai tools in any writing or creative endeavour - be it with family, friends or professionally. All you tech-bros and ai-sycophants can just piss off. I'm not interested in what you're shilling, you use stolen material and what you're doing is not creative. And in fact, it's even worse than that. Projects like AlphaFold show how this technology can, in fact, be of enormous benefit to all of humanity. Using it to plagiarise and steal art is maliciously hindering us from focusing on the actual, worth-while potential of the technology.
