I find it truly interesting regarding human nature. Many people reject the idea of God being in charge of their lives, telling them what to do, how to think, or care for them. Yet we are developing something that is crafted by our minds to do our thinking for us. It's really the only purpose for such a thing. We want to create a little god which we truly fear, but you don't see any slowing in the quest and intrigue to see how far it goes. An interview with OpenAI stated that ChatGPT "could be the solution to all of our problems, or could end us all. There is no in between." Yet with that ridiculous level of gamble, the human race would rather trust in this threat that could extinct us instead of trust in a God who declares his justice and love for us with an unchanging nature. We are truly mad.
