There will be very few people to work very soon (few decades). Transitions always bring challenges, and there will be, no doubt, a lot of people that are negatively affected during this transitions. But the AI / robots is basically the only thing that can save countries like South Korea, Japan and most of Europe (with very few exceptions, cough cough USA, most of the developed world).
If AI / Robotics do not pay out, the world will be VERY different in 2100. Our economic model, specially the main stream Keynesian, do not work with sustained negative "growth".
