Not liking the process never not baffles me whenever people rave about AI..
The process IS the point, it’s like hiking and not appareciating ANY of your stops or surroundings until you reach the end
And ye know why I know that? My parents, for as long as I remember, are unsure why I draw even though I don’t make a living on it
At first it was spite, but now it’s creating for the sake of creation- I want to draw fantastical animals soaring through the sky, I want to animate and fail until I get it right, i WANT to laugh as I transform an eye I drew very lopsided
The process IS the point before the final image, and skipping it is just weird to me.
Skipping it is like going out to a very pricy restaurant and then not chewing the food for the whole reason that you can just swallow it.
I mean yeah,, you won’t choke on noodles for an example, and it’s faster, but it’s not savoring any of it, or giving the food the time to shine.
