It really makes a mockery of education, but they will be the victims of their own laziness when those of them who end up with real careers will realize they don’t know how to do their jobs. That being said, I use AI all the time at work to fix Excel formulas and come up with ones I would have never known how to do. It’s a double-edged sword.
One girl I was seeing had Dyslexia and couldn’t spell at all despite getting into Ivy League schools. One day, she asked me to proofread her paper for an advanced science course and I was expecting to have to help her a ton because of her struggles. To my astonishment, the spelling and grammar were perfect, and it read like a Nobel Laureate’s work. She definitely used AI, but I didn’t say anything because I wanted to get laid.
