If AI can do almost all jobs, then humans no longer have purpose. Without purpose they lose jobs. But the AI companies will as a result lose all their customer base as no one can afford anything. So we're speeding towards a jobless world which also defeats the purpose of AI which is to make work easier for people to be more productive. But cutting people out erases income. This is the snake eating its tail.
