I’m honestly so tired of seeing videos and posts about how AI is going to take jobs, especially in the world of graphic design. People said the same thing when computers first became mainstream. They thought it would replace mathematicians, artists, and brand illustrators (the early graphic designers). But instead, it opened more doors and created more opportunities. We’re still far from AI being able to replicate the level of skill, taste, and intuition a designer brings. Sure, it can generate images or videos, but when it comes to high uality vector art, stunning logos, or beautifully edited videos, AI still can’t match a skilled designer, videographer, or photographer. Design is so much more than slapping text onto a pretty picture. It’s about balance, emotion, storytelling, and building visuals that connect. Even if AI could one day build an entire campaign, companies would still need a designer behind it ... someone who understands what makes good design good. AI can write music, but it won’t replace musicians. It can run basic chat support, but it won’t replace real service agents. It can write scripts, but it won’t replace directors, writers, or producers. AI has been around far longer than people realize. It’s not a replacement; it’s a tool. And if you think it’s replacing you, maybe you’re not using it right.
