Listening to your insightful talks, especially the recent ones on artificial intelligence, has reinforced my view that this is yet another context in which we humans must fight for our survival. Fortunately or not, this is an ongoing process, but now we must survive not only as a species, but also as natural intelligence. Unlike the lightning killing a single being, the meteorite wiped out the dinosaurs, or a gamma-ray burst coming from deep space and capable of destroying all life on the planet, artificial intelligence is our deed. It is the most powerful thing we have ever invented, having the potential to change every aspect of our life as human beings and society, influencing through our most powerful sensor - the mind. And definitely it is not a passive instrument we can use in a controlled way; it is an active "agent" able to create ways to control us. And the question "how to control artificial intelligence" is the wrong question. The right question is "what to control", and the right answer is "our mind", in both its individual and collective aspects. And while controlling the individual mind, although the most difficult activity, is possible, controlling society as a whole is impossible, even extremely wrong. That is why artificial intelligence should be added to what I wrote earlier: "The openness is the only real answer to the madness of globalization and rising AI!"
