Bring these things to Cleveland. Or, for that matter, anywhere in the Midwest. Rain, snow, sleet, potholes, construction chaos, eroded lane markings, erratic traffic downtown…an AI depends on trustworthy inputs. A human can recognize conditions where inputs are not trustworthy, and navigate anyway. These self-driving cars are making mistakes in the California sunshine, they’ll never survive where road conditions are actually bad.
