What you call "weak and stupid" may be more accurately called naivety, or ignorance, as in being in the position of not knowing the capabilities of AI. When the internet brought accessibility of sexually explicit content to who ever wanted it (regardless of age), parental safety settings came AFTER the fact. Additionally, like one of the guests said, AI designers developers will now have to incorporate safety measures. They're new dangers and many older adults/parents don't grasp exactly what AI is capable of. Its not fair to blame everything on the parents
