AI will only get more specialized but the board designed models are gonna flop. They can be reliable at searching materials, spitting nonsense (good for making tasks, similarly to teachers giving tasks to students), format suggestions, industrial such as operating finding errors. It just doesn't work well with vague tasks. However it does perform most tasks lower moderately.
My experience is that it cannot even make theorical for computer science at a high level. It is just an expensive automation with slightly better twikes.
