I think that's a completely normal thing to happen: companies going after AIs that infringe copyrights. It's the exact same that happens when artists / other companies copy copyrighted content. It doesn't matter if you use vectors, or filters, or AI, or if you clone artwork by hand: if you steal copyrighted content, the owners have the right to go after you.
