I drove commercially, SAFELY, for more than 30 years. I've seen all sorts of hazards that I will never believe any self driving vehicle could handle. It would take dedicated infrastructure that doesn't exist - such as self driving truck only routes- to ever think this would work to a ZERO accident level.
