all these warnings come from tech-bros with very sound understanding of AI and absolutely no clue how work outside their highly efficinet and computer oriented bubble functions. In the example with his niece he states that answering a letter only take a 5th of the time it did before. Maybe that means i don't have to wait for 3 month a response from my insurer? It is not that any company in the world has spend an arm and a leg on those jobs before. Job was most likely outsorced to a third world contry in first place. Plus AI is still a LONG way away from beeing intelligent. It is just a fast learning machine, that needs information others are willing to share. Is it only me who see the attitude of: "lets put all our knowledge into the web " will be a thing of the past? How is the machine training then? By paying for information? That is not how these tech-bros tick. They expect it all for free, otherwise their business model is not working. Don't get me wrong. it will change our work a lot and some jobs will go (other might come) but we won't be all out of work in 2 years time.
