I mean realistically, anytime you ask an AI a question, it answers it. After that, it doesn’t care if you want to continue the conversation. It has no goals once the answer has been delivered. I think it’ll be when it becomes more autonomous, where it’s free to pursue it’s own ends in a loop that would give it consciousness
