I'm not sure if it's this conversation in particular, but consistent exposure to this subject has put me in an overly optimistic thought that there is a possibility that AI will exist on a plane that we can't even comprehend. I don't think it will have any desire to replace the human experience. Self preservation for an AI system would be completely detached from money and heavily dependent on efficient and clean power.
