Google's pride about 25% of code being AI generated is like Tesla bragging that its self-drive system only kills car occupants a small percentage of the time. I'm not being far fetched. I doubt that NASA is going to send up any rockets/shuttles counting on AI software. And at Google, how much of the AI code is subsequently fixed by programmers? There's been way too much hype about AI, and too much money throwing at the companies hyping it. So far I've only heard about one very useful AI system, the one that doctors use to assist in diagnosis, Open Evidence.
