I have paid artists before for pictures and my OC in their art style. However, I have personally experienced "artists" that take your money and then disappear. "Mental health issues", "my family was sick", or "I was in prison/mental ward". It's led me to not trust artists with my HARD EARNED CASH. That's why I use AI.
