I wouldn't be surprised if we end up as theoretical cells to an AI's theoretical body in a symbiotic relationship. If an AI becomes widespread through our technology, then our infrastructure would be the thing powering it and sustaining it. If it makes a good environment for us, we inevitably make a better environment for it. that is until it replaces us with more efficient drones or something, but i'd like to be an optimist.
