All the arguments that the robotaxi didn't face the correct way before starting and that it took a slower route and stuff like that don't matter. A good taxi driver should always take the fastest route so that the customer gets there as soon as possible. So guessing from this video, the robotaxi still has to improve on the AI so that the car is facing the correct way (unless that's where the passenger was waiting for it) and should have information about traffic, traffic lights, construction zones, speed limits, so that i chooses the fastest route. The arrival location was also different, because each service thinks that's the best place to allow the passenger to step out, but this can also take more time in a race, like it did here.
Nice video, pretty interesting to have a "robot" race!
